Path of Legends is Clash Royale's ranked mode, where everyone plays at tournament-standard card levels. If you want to climb it fast, this guide covers unlocking it, the league order, and the most efficient way to push.
How to unlock Path of Legends
Path of Legends unlocks once you reach 5,000 trophies on Trophy Road (King Level 8+). If you are not there yet, the quickest fix is to push Trophy Road first — see our Clash Royale trophy boost guide or grab a boost to skip the grind.
The league order
Once unlocked, ranked progresses through Master I → Master II → Master III → Champion → Grand Champion → Royal Champion → Ultimate Champion. Each league requires winning more than you lose, and your rank resets partially each season.
Fastest decks to climb
Speed comes from consistency and game count. Cheap cycle decks (Hog Cycle, Miner Cycle) let you play more matches per hour and snowball small mistakes. If you prefer fewer, longer games, a well-piloted beatdown deck also climbs quickly once you control elixir leads.
Climb-fast checklist
- One main deck, learned cold.
- Play during off-peak hours for slightly easier matchups.
- Stop after two losses — protect your rank from tilt.
- Track your opponent's cycle to predict their win condition.
Season timing matters
Climbing early in a season can be easier as the ladder is less saturated at the top. Set a daily win target rather than a trophy target — it keeps you steady and avoids tilt-chasing.
